A New Switching Method in Space Vector Modulation of Current-Source-Inverter in Order to Reduce Load Current THD


In this paper a novel switching method in space vector modulation of currentsource-inverter in order to reduce load current THD is proposed and simulated in PSB. Current source inverter with proposed switching method firstly is used for feeding constant RL load. Comparing of this proposed method with other previous methods shows that this new method with increasing sampling frequency of processor decrease load current THD effectively. While switching losses are the same in all methods. For verifying of achieved results, proposed method is used for vector control of induction motor with current source inverter and compared with other methods. Simulation results show that motor torque ripple with proposed method reduces effectively that causes decrease motor harmonic losses and its better performance.
