Rotor Stability Analysis: The Root Locus

Until now, we have primarily discussed various aspects of forced vibration in rotor systems. The model we developed in Chapter 10 was solved to determine the steady state behavior of a rotor system. Steady state behavior describes how a rotor system responds to a continuous perturbation over a long period of time.
