Multi-Sensor Management: Multi-Sensor Scheduling for Target Tracking Using Fisher Information Matrix Perturbation


This paper presents a novel sensor scheduling algorithm for optimal allocation of target tracking resources, based on fisher information matrix perturbation. The algorithm can be easily calculated and it is possible to include many sensors. The sensor scheduling measure function is the condition number of covariance matrix. The performance of the sensor scheduling algorithm is studied for single sensor and sensors collocation. And simulation shows the method is effective and feasible.
