Research on Single-Phase to Ground Fault in Resonant Grounding System


At present, more and more medium voltage power grid use resonant grounding system to make the grounding arc eliminated easily, residual current reduction is unfavorable for fault line selection. Fault line selection methods are based on establishment of single-phase to ground simulation model in resonant grounding system and variation of fault feature. Combine with Anhui, Wuhu substation, considering the three-phase capacitor asymmetry and noise effect, the 10kV single-phase to ground fault in resonant grounding system model is made using MATLAB electric system simulated platform which is in the actual operation of power systems and improving accuracy. Different factors related to fault feature are simulated and simulation results are analyzed to find the variation which can provide a reference for single-phase to ground fault selection.
