Simulation on Vibration Radiation Noise from Rear Driving Axle of Minibus Based on Virtual Lab Acoustics


In this paper, firstly the vibration response of acceleration of the rear driving axle caused by the common excitation forces were calculated by using the finite element software ABAQUS, and then put these calculation results as a boundary condition input for the acoustic analysis software Virtual Lab Acoustics. The radiating noises from the driving rear axle were calculated to identify the main noise source, and were compared with the experimental results. These results can provide a reliable basis for reducing the noise and vibration of the rear driving axle of the minibus.
