The Optimization Design of a 1550nm Fiber Laser by Simulation


The output performance of a 1550nm fiber laser is affected by the variety of pumping power and Erbium doped fiber directly. In order to optimize the factors of the fiber laser and obtain high output performance, in this paper, we stimulate the working process of a ring fiber laser by using the Optisystem 7.0 software. Then, through analyzing the numerical results, the optimal relations between the pumping power and the length of Erbium doped fiber are obtained, and the output performance of the fiber laser is enhanced.
