A Tool for Programming CNC Machining


The rapid evolution of programming techniques and variety of programming languages adapted to the NC has created the need to develop specific tools for different commands. This work aims to develop a tool for programming CNC machining instructions in different orders FANUC, FAGOR, NUM, SINUMERIK turning and milling, in a CAM. This module allows the learning of the NC and conversational programming mode. Both sides have been developed. The first addresses the problem of incompatibility addresses, sources of confusion in the preparation of programs. In the second part, it was developed a tool contributing to the programming instructions in a machining CAM. This module has three functions. The first function is to seek an appointment after selecting the “control/operation” and the “G code”. By choosing the “designation” and “control/operation,” the second function using the programming by writing the desired code syntax, with the possibility of recording in a file in a simulation of machining CAM software. The third function, video files in turning and milling cycles for different machining and interpolations were developed, with possibilities of how the program continuously or step by step.
