Research on Design of the Conical Liquid Hybrid Bearing Base on CFD Numerical Simulation


Designed a conical liquid hybrid bearing with composite oil cavity — deep cavity and shallow cavity, the hydrodynamic effect and the hydrostatic effect work together in it, the CFD numerical simulation had been introduced into the liquid hybrid bearing design. Constructed the fully bearing liquid film model by SolidWorks, leading-in CFDesign, the simulation is proceeded, obtained the pressure field distribution of the bearing liquid film and the shaft displacement — the bearing support force curves simultaneously. CFD numerical simulation assisted the calculation-validation of the bearing liquid film, assisted the setting of the supply oil pressure. This research presented a high efficiency design method to the liquid hybrid bearing engineering application.
