Dynamical Modeling and Analysis on the SOTM Multi-Subarray Antenna System


In order to analyze the attitude changing of the antenna in mobile communication process, a dynamical model of SOTM antenna system is proposed. First, a mechanical schema of the SOTM multi-subarray antenna system is described, and the kinetic equation is deduced though Direction Cosine Method and Kinematical Decomposition Method. Then the dynamical equation is derived based on the voltage balance, the moment balance and Euler equation. At last, the model is simulated under the open-loop condition. Simulation results show that the antenna attitude is seriously affected by the disturbance from vehicle. The model proposed and the analysis lays a foundation for the precision pointing control of the antenna to the GEO.
